This is an opinion piece. Our position: decaf is still treated as the lesser product on the menu board, and for most of what is now sold that judgment is out of date. The processes improved, the green coffee going into them improved, and the objection that stuck, the one about chemicals, is a much narrower complaint than the version people repeat.
